Serving our community since 1972. CCCC philosophy focuses on foundational skills that support learning at every stage of life, including: social skill development, thinking skills (inquiry, critical, creative, and problem solving), language skills (listening and speaking), creative self-expression, and learning by doing.

Rich learning takes place both indoors and out. As children discover and explore, we facilitate experiences through open-ended questioning, guidance and encouragement. We provide a safe and loving environment for each child’s curiosity and imagination to grow and thrive. Understanding there will be challenges, victories, mistakes, growth, stepping out of their comfort zone, even though they may be afraid at first, and pride when they conquer something they thought they might not be able to do. Children learn to be good friends, to express empathy an compassion, to include everyone, and are able to talk about their feelings, when conflict does arise.

CCCC features a low teacher to child ratio so that our teachers have time to devote to each child’s individual style of learning, building on their strengths, and encouragement with their challenges. We honor children in providing opportunities for young children to grow and flourish. Early childhood is a critical period in a child’s development, 90 percent of their brain will be developed by the time they are five years old. Keeping this in mind we work to set the stage for problem solving, cognitive development, and to build a lifelong love of learning.
